Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the asmrsmitten link page ("the Site") collects, uses, stores, and deletes information. The Site is operated by asmrsmitten. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@asmrsmitten.com.

Information we collect

• Site usage: Google Analytics may collect page views, link clicks, approximate location, device/browser information, and similar usage data.
• YouTube information: the Site retrieves the public subscriber count and public channel name for the configured asmrsmitten YouTube channel.
• TikTok information: after the TikTok account owner authorizes the app, it retrieves the account display name, username, and follower count.
• TikTok credentials: TikTok provides access and refresh tokens so the Site can refresh the authorized follower count. These tokens are stored server-side and are never exposed to public visitors.

How we use information

Information is used only to operate the Site, display public audience totals, understand aggregate Site usage, maintain security, and troubleshoot technical problems. The Site does not publish TikTok videos, access private messages, or modify the connected TikTok account.

Sharing and selling

Personal information is not sold. Information is processed by service providers needed to operate the Site, including Supabase for database and authentication services, Vercel for hosting, Google Analytics, the YouTube Data API, and TikTok's APIs. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Storage, security, and retention

TikTok credentials are stored in a protected database table accessible only to authenticated Site administrators. Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. TikTok connection data is retained until the account is disconnected, authorization is revoked, or deletion is requested. Cached follower counts may remain until the connection is removed, at which point the TikTok count is reset.

Your choices and data deletion

The connected account owner can disconnect TikTok from the Site's private dashboard, revoke access through TikTok account settings, or follow the instructions on the Data Deletion page. You may also use browser or device controls to limit Google Analytics cookies.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Site features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised when material changes are made.
